I didnt know that doing something mundane like lubricating the hinges of my door and acquiring the desired outcome can give so much satisfaction.
Oh yeah it did.
Maybe I'm just weird.
Or maybe, I felt victorious over the freaking squeak that the door makes whenever I open or shut it.
Anyway its good either way.
I also feel the same way whenever I drive dangerously but still come back home still in one piece and the car still intact. And its good knowing I can drive from Labrador Park to Jurong East in just 10 minutes (Possible... at high speeds... haha). I dont have to tell you how fast I was going. GO figure. I'm a rash driver(Only when driving my dad's car, I'm a safe driver when driving other people's car) , I know. My dad is partly to blame coz I have his genes and he drives like crazy. So its nature and nurture. hahahaha
However, the bottom line is this, Speeding is dangerous!
There were a few close encounters and I was lucky to escape collisions.
Thats all folks.

Back to studying and back to using my brain.
Well not that I've not been using my brain for the past 2.5 years or so
but rather my brain wasnt really being tested or fully utilised.
Now however, its back to memorising, understanding concepts and applying it.
Dont you just love your brain?

I took this photo while I was on holiday in Pulau Redang, Terengganu in Malaysia.
I took it in the early morning and I was just captivated by the sight.
I just stood there, mesmerised.
Simply stunning.
Sometimes the best things in life are simply just there in front of us.
But most of us just dont realise it.
Cheers.

The past month was like a whirlwind of sorts.
Back to studying, working and teaching simultaneously.
Can I handle all this ?
I know I can!!!!!
............................................................
You can feel free like a bird, whenever you have a car at your disposal.
Thats how I felt when people close to me lent me their cars when they go overseas.
The luxury of having a means of transportation...
wherever and whenever.
Not many things simply quite beats it.
Alas it was only for a moment and then you would be swearing at how much fuel costs and the ridiculous charges of carpark and ERP.
Next, meeting up with old friends certainly is great.
And relieving memories always brings up plenty of laughter.
Well the spontaneous plan to play bowling indeed was a masterstroke.
Gutterballs, gutterballs and more gutterballs plus the shrill of laughter.
Ahh yes, movies.
I just watched, Step Up 2: The Streets.
Catchy isnt the right word, but its the first word that comes to mind.
Coz it makes me wanna dance.
But then again I'm a person with 2 left feet.
I would just draw laughter from the streets.
Oooh yeah thats about it.

If you've been reading the papers lately, you'll probably know whats happening around us.
Well depending on whether you really believe the media or how you interpret them, I guess what really matters is, it really made our shores a little more exciting, dont you think?
Well lets not speculate about how it got to this point or whether all of this is really just a conspiracy of sorts. You decide.
However you cant deny the excitement buzzing around. The Police with the help of Telcos are even MMS-ing us. From Grassroots leaders to taxi drivers. All helping in the pursuit of this subject.
Well I'm not belittling them neither am I taking this so lightly. I'm just curious...
Curious to know how it can happen.
I was in the Police Force for national service and I know the basic stuff of guarding a person-in-custody. I've done ward duties where I had to "babysit" criminals while they lie down in hospital beds. And even when they request to go to the toilet, both my partner and I have to be present and he must be in view of me and my partner and of course still restrained.
Thats why I'm curious. Just like everyone else but more curious.
But then again lets just join in the manhunt, shall we?
haha.
