Everyone seems to be jumping on the 3G phones bandwagon.
Every corner you turn you sure gonna knock into someone who is using one.
Or worse still you can see people whipping out, flipping up or sliding out their gadgets
in true Bond fashion for all to see hoping to stir up jealousy as they are now technologically more superior than others.
Wahahaha
Well I'm also guity of doing that lar so shoot me hahaha.
We just cant resist to show off.
Typical of us SINGAPOREANS.

I've also tried using the video calls.
It was something new and technology really is moving to a whole new direction.
I could see the other party but the picture resolution wasnt very clear.
Its the same with every other phone that we tried.
While at work, those of us who had 3G phones tried calling each other and the video quality
was the same throughout using different phones from nokia to sony ericsson.
Hopefully as the time goes on, it'll get better eh.

Having 3G technology could either be a bane or boon.
The good thing is that you could see your loved ones and talk to them no matter how far they are. (I've already tried video calling my family while they were in KL while i was stuck in sg)

The bad thing is, its more difficult to lie to your mom about your whereabouts if she insists on video calling you
or as my second supervisor moans
he's gonna have a hard time trying to 'buaya' coz his wife also has a 3G phone.
hahahaha

My computer's monitor is giving problems now.
Its flicking and changes brightness every few minutes.
I thinks its gonna die off soon.
Haiz.
The CPU just exploded and busted itself earlier this month.
I had to fork out a hundred and twenty bucks together with my siblings to send it for repair.
sigh...

and to top it off
when i reported off work earlier this morning and on my way home, it occurred to me that i had forgotten to do a couple of things.
Now I've got to come early the next morning shift to do it.
What luck heh.

the monitor's flicking brightness is making me insane!

Well luckily I'm more than happy today.
Managed to meet up with my dearest and had a late lunch with her.
You're my escape.

And one more thing,
I'm putting on weight it seems.
I've put off my endorphin churning sessions since God knows when.
I need to go running, I need to go to the gym.
Losing shape already and found out courtesy of my dearest taking pics of me using my new phone that my cheeks seems to have ballooned (hahaha damn its bad).
I've been eating quite a lot it seems yeah.

I have to say i'm pretty impressed with my new phone.
Kudos to Sony Ericsson for making such great phones.
More and more people are switching to S.E phones it seems.
Now both my sisters and myself are using them.
Both of them are using the K800i. (That cyber shot phone)
And now all 3 of us have 3G phones!

Bugger I'm working tomorrow!
How sad.
I need to go on holiday!
The last weekend my family left me at home while they went to KL.
I had to work you see.
And I cant get leave coz everyone else seems to clear their leave before the end of the year.
Whereas I'm only supposed to clear my leave before April.
So the manpower is just only sufficient or sometimes it seems tight till we have to sacrifice people at static posts to do patrol or get them to do ward duty.
And I'm the person in the team who plans the daily deployment roster.
It gets pretty tiring and sometimes it gives me a headache thinking who should do what duty next.
Oh yes holiday.
I want a break from work!

Another working tour has ended.
Any interesting case.
Yeah had one arrest case of this 'monkey' sniffing glue.
And he purposely did it in full view of public sitting on a bench in front of a lift landing.
Plus he didnt even bother to run off even after seeing us approaching him.
When we asked him what he was doing.
He was still dazed from the glue and stared at us blankly.
Arrested him without any struggle.
And because of him, my report off time was delayed for 2 hours!!!
Bugger and i even scolded him and blamed him for my going home late
even when he was in his mid-forties.
I reached home after 11 pm as a result.
But its ok its all in a days work as an officer.

Now however I'm overjoyed coz I just got myself something new.... again(yeah after that new crumpler bag that i just got haha)
I got myself a new handphone!
Woooohoooooo!
And this time its the spankingly new and latest Sony Ericsson W850i!!! My Motorola E398 can finally rest in peace after being my trusted companion for close to 2 years.

I must have been doubly exhausted from work yesterday.
I was just stretching my body on the floor in my room when i fell asleep
and when i awoke it was already 5 am.
LOL!
It reminds me of my JC days when sometimes my notes can be sprawling not just on the table but on the floor as well and while studying on the floor, I can just knock-out and "be dead for the night" just like that.
Ahhh the nostalgia.
But then again the stress level was terrible.
I wont ever wanna go through that again.
And yes my back sometimes do take a beating sleeping on the parquet flooring.
hehs.

I'm working the night shift later.
Its gonna be one long night.
If there is a case that I need to attend to, lets hope its not beyond 3 in the morning.
I would be zonked by then.
My facial expression wouldnt be able to hide it.
And even that time when we handled one case at 4am,
there was this woman who directed her verbal abuse at me saying, "You all Police are useless man, this is shit man!!!"
Maybe I was too tired to force out an expression or just to tired to even feel angry or insulted.
I just gave her my slumber and blank and tired look.
LOL!
Well of course I cant retaliate, its wrong to do so and we cant either.
Dealing with the public is not easy you know.
People who have worked in the service sector would know this.
And you can see how ugly SINGAPOREANS really are.

Oh yeah remember the time I said I wanted to buy new shoes or a new bag.
Guess what i bought.
No not shoes but a new bag.
In the first place I wanted new shoes and had already planned on buying a pair but
when I paid the Crumpler store at Paragon a visit, the next thing I knew i was walking out of the store with a brand new bag.
Impulsive???
I know.
I'm the type who dont shop much, however without fail every year I'll get myself a new pair of shoes and a new bag.
Haiz I guess the new shoes will have to wait till maybe June/July next year then.
Yups thats all.

Next working tour we have to do an extra night shift!

Ooops sorry for not updating for quite some time.
Work coupled with the computer blowing up (quite literally coz all of da sudden it would shut down by itself) has kept me at bay from my blog.
I'm not surprised the computer blew up heh.
Sometimes we use it the whole day taking turns from the father to the sister and even the maid.
hahaha
And now i have to clear and save my files before reformatting the whole thing.
Damnn, i dont have an external hard disk to keep all my music files!!!
