Probability:
–noun, plural -ties.
1. the quality or fact of being probable.
2. a strong likelihood or chance of something: The probability of the book's success makes us optimistic.
3. a probable event, circumstance, etc.: Our going to China is a probability.
4. Statistics.
a. the relative possibility that an event will occur, as expressed by the ratio of the number of actual occurrences to the total number of possible occurrences.
b. the relative frequency with which an event occurs or is likely to occur. —Idiom
5. in all probability, very probably; quite likely: The factory will in all probability be relocated.

"We cant negotiate with probability. We can run, but in the end it'll catch up with us."
I got that quote from one movie i watched a few days back. (It was Miami Vice or something)
Haha i guess its true.

The probability of a criminal getting caught redhanded will increase as he continues doing so.
He gets more predictable and thus increases the odds of him getting caught.

The probability of us getting hit by bird droppings disgustingly increases as we increase the number of times we get out of the house. (Thats so true)
(So far in my lifetime, I'm already being hit twice. Dont laugh, you cant negotiate with probability remember. heh)

The probability of us getting fat stupendously increases as we constantly indulge ourselves and give in to cravings and feverishly moan to others telling them how fat you've become( I mean its like Duh! It doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure that out!) (ummm not referring to anyone here but i think the next rule may greatly apply)

The probability of people getting hurt by our insensitivity increases as we continue being the insensitive person that we are who just dont think before they speak. (So just keep your mouth shut then haha) (and oh yah to those sensitive people, please lah just get over it)

The probability of us getting nagged at by our moms buggingly increases if we increase the duration of staying at home. ( thats probably why i always get out of the house)

The probability of me getting stuck at home rotting, dyingly increases when the number of days off/leave i am given increases.
(I dont know why)

The probability that different circles of my friends that wanna see me and "book me" in the same weekend greatly annoyingly increases whenever I'm running a tight schedule.
(Its just that way i guess)

And lastly the probability of myself getting bored by the moment is measured when i'm calculating probabilities about life's probabilities.
Does that make sense?
Well then again, I'm bored.
Thank God I'm working tomorrow!
woohooo.

Every hour, every minute,every second,
I just think of you. <3>

I was browsing through blogs and found this.
And it was utterly hillarious.
Oh yeah once in a while its good to laugh at ourselves.
How ridiculous can this get.
Enjoy.
hahaha

How i wish you were here.

I'm stuck at home with nothing to do.
5 days off and guess what,
everybody else seems to be busy.
Firstly my gf is on holiday with her family.
I miss her.
Secondly my two best friends just cancelled our planned meeting.
Thirdly I'm not supposed to really go on holiday if my family decides to
go to KL at the last moment.
So now what???
Haiz thts life dude.

My division is giving me 125 bucks to spend coz we won some sort of award.
Now, what would i spend it on.
I was thinking of either buying shoes or a new bag.
Hmmm I dont have a wishlist coz I'm the type of person who dont buy new stuff
when my old stuff are still in favourable condition.
At the moment I could only think of buying either shoes or a bag.
Well with the exception of a new handphone, but i guess that could wait.
Ideas anyone?
I need to make the purchase before the middle of December.
I guess I should go window shopping within the next few days since
I'm so free.
Certainly beats rotting at home.
Yups.

Thats all.

No matter how far you are,
you'll always be right here,
in my heart. <3

Paperwork and more paperwork.
Filing and all the such.
I've never done so much administrative work in my life.
You must be wondering why in the world I'm doing admin
when I'm supposed to be patrolling the streets.
Well the thing is, I'm an NSF (National Service Fulltime),
so being posted to a team of NPCO regulars, I'm automatically
one of the staff assistant to the Team leader or Deputy Team leader.
So yeah all the paperwork that they have to do, we have to help.
Patrolling all that for me comes in second.
Well not that I'm complaining.
Sometimes its good and sometimes all the paperwork makes me dizzy.
But in the end, i still get to see some of the action too when patrolling.

And bloody guess what, my next shift is on next Tuesday!!!
I wont be working till then!
haha

Let the fun begin,
but on another note, I'll be sad and lonely too.
Coz she'll be on holiday with her family.
Haiz its always the case.
Whenever I'm free others are not.
Thats life dude.

I'll be missing you...

It seems that work has been disrupting my normal meal routine.
Especially when I'm working the day shift.
Breakfast at 10am, Lunch at 4pm and dinner at 10pm.
Geez no wonder my stomach has been rumbling non-stop lately.
And to top it off I came down with food poisoning on thursday while i was working.
I had bouts of diarrhoeae in the morning
and everything i ate, for that day came out with vomit.
Luckily i was at the team office when i had to go to the loo to shit. (Clean toilets yeah!)
But I was doing some security coverage at UWC when i vomitted.
haha luckily i hid behind the police car and no one saw me.

I went straight to Alexandra Hospital after work that day
and the doctor gave me an mc on friday.
Now, I'm all ok.
No worries.

18 November- Me and my Dearest's Fifth monthsary <3

I love you.

Its been quite some time since I last chilled in front of my computer while listening to my array of ROCK mp3s.
Feels just like the old days. (Wait that makes me sound so old)
hahaha
And today I have an extra day off since I'll be posted to team delta.
Its one of the days where i get to spend some time for myself.
Some personal time like some say it.
And it feels good sometimes to just be alone.
Away from everything.

Ever since I started shift work, I've been finding it hard to divide my time wisely with
the people i care most.
2 days work then 2 days off but in actual fact its only 1.5 days off since we need to sleep after a nights work.
I dont get my full weekends most of the time, its either one day or none at all.
So its never a full day that i get to enjoy with my family, friends or let alone my girlfriend.
Haiz.
If only I was working as office hours...

If only i could stop time,
just to be with you.

Monday, November 06, 2006, 2:45 pm

I'm now being transferred from Team Alpha to Delta.
Why?
Coz there's no more NSF in the team and they need the services of an NSF.
Sigh, even though we're NSf, sometimes we do more work than the regulars.
And coupled with our measly allowance, where's the justification in that???
But, what to do...

Yesterday, I went out Raya with my close Secondary School friends.
This year, we didnt take public transport but instead I became the driver
and drove a car since I'm the one with the license.
(Wak Drebar lah katekan. hah)
And since we drove around instead, we managed to cover quite a decent number of house within a short period of time.
The only downside is that all of us had to chip in the refuelling of patrol.
But hey it certainly beats moving around in public transport.
(Dah maju-lah katekan)

all right thats all...

No words can describe
how much I love you.

Friday, November 03, 2006, 4:02 pm

Since I'm like so busy now, I'll just get straight to the point.
Working as a policeman isnt what you thought it would be.
You must be thinking along the lines of ,"Woah... having the honour of serving the nation, doing good by eliminating crime and assisting public"
Forget the bravado.
Once you're an officer yourself, then you see the real picture.
Sometimes you just wish that the public would just shut up.
Sometimes you wonder whether the public sees us as superman instead.
Sometimes you also wonder at the public's stupidity and absurdity.
But what to do,
I've just got to 'tahan' for another one and a half years of this nonsense.

On the first day when I was deployed in an FRC (fast-response-car), the first case i attended to, was a Section 32 (Insane or Gila) subject who wanted to commit suicide by jumping down.
But luckily when we arrived the subject was already coaxed by the daughter not to jump.
We had to arrest him and send him to lock-up and send him to IMH.
As a result of that case my breakfast became my lunch and my prata was already so cold and soggy.
After that we went to attend to a case of a cobra spotted on the loose. My partners and I managed to catch it and we send it back to our Division HQ. (I dont know what they did to that snake after that! hah)
And right after that, we got a message saying someone committed suicide by jumping off a high-rise building!!!
How unlucky(or lucky) can i get on my first day???!!!!
The scdf ambulance pronounced him dead upon our arrival.
Lucky that guy landed on a grass patch and was still in one piece.
If he had landed on concrete, we would have to pick up whatever that came loose from his body.
For your info, the guy jumped from the 40th story and the impact is so great that he left a mark(outline of the whole body) on the grasspatch. The soil sank in and you could see the body outline of the man on the patch.
His head cracked open and i could see his brain jutting out while blood flowed out of his ears.
Certainly not a pretty sight and definitely not for the faint-hearted.
I had to cover the body with a plastic sheet and the body tent.
Given a choice, of course I wouldnt want to attend to such cases.
But what the heck, am i given any?
Its all in the course of duty.

Even now I'm still captivated
by that smile of yours.

, 11:42 am

scraps and little collage for today.

enjoy. . .
