For the past few days I was attached to Clementi Police Division and was under Queenstown Neighbourhood Police Centre(NPC).
Dont know where that is?
Its right next to Queensway Shopping Centre and we co-share the big building with the scdf.
And being attached there is certainly an eye-opening experience.
Especially when working the night shift.
All of us take it for granted that we're safe in our homes at night without knowing what really goes on outside.
In just that one night that i was working the night shift,
I encountered numerous cases.
Cases of loansharks writing on walls (didnt manage to nab him though), case of a mother who lost her daughter for more than 3 days, case of checking out hot spots of drug addicts and also a fire at the market place.
Besides doing normal patrol, we also screen people and vehicles and conduct road blocks.
The only 'leceh' thing about police work is the paperwork and recording of statements and such.
But then again its been a while since I last wrote something more than a page long.
I guess its time that the pen is gonna be my good friend once again.
I'm gonna be back to camp for just 3 days (Wed-Fri) before being posted out and really working in Clementi Police Division.
I dont know which NPC I'll be posted to yet.
There are four NPCs in Clementi division.
Namely Jurong East, Clementi, Queenstown and Bukit Merah West.
I really hope I get into JE coz it'll be just walking distance to me haha.
And before i forget, please pray hard that wherever i am posted to, the most important thing is that I wont get into a team that works the day shift on Hari Raya.
If not I cannot RAYA!!!
That would be a truly sad moment. (melalak lah kau)
Ok thats all.
I could gaze at you for hours. You're so beautiful.

Another week has passed and I'm left with just 2 weeks left in camp.
(Less than that if you minus off the days on attachment.)
And I think my squad will pass off as one of the most infamous squads in camp.
Why?
Almost every officer in camp knows that we're such a trouble-maker squad.
We have countless run-ins of being effed up by various officers but yet we never learn.
We tested the system till we set up our own standards and
still continue being the way we are.
And i quote from one of the officers ," A fucked up squad with a fucked up attitude."
Well I kinda agree anyway. haha
We finally got a taste of our own medicine when almost the whole squad was confined on Saturday.
The reason?
3 out of four bunks were not ready for stand-by-bed inspection by the company commander
when he walked in, into our bunks.
Only my bunk was ready and thus we were not given the confinement.
Yeah I was so damn lucky.
Besides getting the confinement, the week was quite enjoyable.
We did scenario based training.
Some of the scenes requires us to handle a man equipped with a weapon and a gunman holding a child hostage. It was really cool man.
We even had FX training where we get to play handle a revolver loaded with detergent-based paint and fire off at crooks. We learnt tactics on how to move in and take cover.
But alas i only shot one round before cornering the suspect (who was also armed with a gun) and taking him down along with 2 other partners.
And I only got shot in the foot.
We also learnt how to take photographs at a crime scene ala CSI style.
Next week we're gonna learn dusting for fingerprints.
I'll be posted out to division on the 23rd!!!!
One day before Raya!!!
I guess i wont get to celebrate Hari Raya this year coz surely I wont be able to take leave.
What to do...
Let us lay here, wasting time and chasing cars.

What could be worse than spending Ramadhan in camp?
I wonder...
Waking up early for sahur is alright.
But waking up to a ridiculous sahur is another matter.
(who the hell eats burgers for sahur???)
And the food they serve for breaking fast is only average.
(I'm contented coz Well at least theres food rite? haha)
I have to put up with this for another 3 weeks in camp!!!!
Thank goodness, when i book out of camp I got to savour all the food I love.
Yesterday I went back to Johor and we went food shopping for the breaking of fast.
We bought, murtabak, satay, otak-otak, ayam percik and cendol !!!
hahaha (balas dendam satu minggu)
And its gonna be another long week in camp when i book in tonight.
Your touch leaves me senseless. And left me wanting more.
