Have you guys been to Sakura International Buffet?
Well dont wait any longer, it sure is one smashing place
to eat if you love eating.
And you can eat till your stomach hurts.
Thats what happened to me yesterday.
I seriously piled my plate with various delicacies and went for so many rounds
of servings.
hahaha (I am a true-blue Singaporean after all)
The food there was above average it seems.
Asian, western, sushi, you name it, they have it.
I ate sushi, pizza, pasta, steak, fried rice, fried noodles, soup, satay, otah and many
many more.
And yeah the desserts were great too.
And shhhh dont tell anyone that i brought home jellies and stuffed them in my pockets.
hahaha

I'm going back to camp at night.
It sure sucks to be in there.
What to do...

Oh yeah.
Had a stroll in the park yesterday.
How i wish time could stand still.

This coming week, I'll be taking my driving Final Theory Test(FTT).
Yes for those who already have their license, stop smirking.
Thank God, I made the right decision in not continuing to take the FTT and practicals
way back earlier this year(before i got enlisted).
Well everything will be paid for by the government(I love them!!!hahaha[lol how hypocrytic can i be! wahaha] ) and that means i get to save up to 2ooo buckaroos!!!
Yess i know you guys will be green in envy.
But its ok, life IS fair after all.

So after 2 weeks of unproductivity in camp, I'm finally gonna at least DO something worthwhile.
(Dont ask what we've been doing for the past 2 weeks hahahaha)

And yeah I wanna comment on Singapore Idol for a bit.
Are Singaporeans deaf or just plain stupid or too lazy(and selfish) to vote for the BEST singer.
Its an insult to a singing competition, to see pretty boy and poodle-hair still in there.
(Initially I typed their names but I thought otherwise coz I'll get sued or worse still get hate mails from their fans hahaha)
Should i say more.

My life in camp is as mundane and routine as ever.
My only escape is my weekends.
However,recently, my parents were not that happy seeing me going out
on weekends and returning home late into the night.
I got "lectured" by my dad about this.
As much as I want to rebutt his point, he always seems to be right.
I just cant think of anything to say and I just kept quiet.
I felt so bad and guilty after that.
Nobody can beat my dad when talking about principles and responsibilities.
Well he's right.
I'm wrong and i know it now...

It sure sucks to know that you're wrong and worse still when people need to point it out to you.
But damn...
you could either take it positively and learn from it or take it as a personal attack and be affected by it.
As for me, I'll take the former.
I'm not one who shies away from criticism.
In fact I welcome them.
I take it in my stride and learn from my mistakes.
Its the only way to learn and the only way to grow as a person.
I've come a long way since the start of teenhood.
And I owe this to my dad.
He moulded me into the person I am today.
Well even if he's not reading this, I just wanna thank him and say that I love him.
I may not be the best,but lest I try.

If i were to die tmr(why the hell i'm having such thought??? only heaven knows),
I wouldnt want to leave without saying these...

Our worst nightmare came true...
The 2 NPCO squads get bunks in Foxtrot Coy and we have to put up with panther yet again.
This sucks...
Oh you dont know who panther is?
Well panther is this indian officer who calls himself panther and he is the assistant coy commander.
He makes such a big fuss over how the coy is being run and everyone seems to find him a pain.
Damn...
But what to do...

Life in camp is a bore.
Nothing is new.
The new mangkuks are freakingly annoying and a pain in the ass.
Being a trainee yet again in HTA pretty much sucks.
I'm already getting sick with the food they serve in the mess.
Seems like we are all running out of luck.

Thats why I always wish that weekdays would just whizz past me.
But that is never the case.
Time seems to stop to a halt or crawl by, knowing that it would torture me.
But what to do...
Endure man, endure...

I always look forward to weekends.
I love my weekends.
And I love her.

I guess what they say about men in uniform is true.
haha

Ok back to reality.
Since I got posted to NPCO, I've got to stay in camp for another 3 months of vocational training.
That is shitty man.
The shitty food plus the shitty environment i have to put up with.
The only solace is that I'll be getting free driving license.
Oh wells...
Its gonna be the same old shit again.
Why do i keep saying shit?
Oh wait...
yeah coz i havent shit yet this morning
so i'm full of shit right now.
wahahahaha
alright i'm blabbing crap....

P-O-P OHHHH !!!!!

Yeah my passing out parade took place yesterday.
The parade was a blast.
It marks the end of our basic police training.
I'm no longer a Trainee Special Constable(SC) but instead
I'm now an SC Corporal.
Shall uploads pics very soon.

Today I got my posting results too.
And my prayers were answered.
I got into NPCO!!!!
(Neighbourhood Police Centre Officer)
That means I'll get free driving license.
wooooohoooooooo

But the bad thing is I have to stay in camp for another 3 months of vocational training.
I have to endure the crappy food in camp too.
arghhh...
its ok.

My Saturday was wasted.
There was this Singapore Youth Festival Opening Ceremony at the National Stadium
and i was deployed to do traffic control on the roads.
So if u were at the stadium yesterday, and saw the men in blue wearing reflective vests and gloves, I could be one of them.
I certainly abhor these kind of duties.
Firstly standing under the hot sun aint gonna help my already darkened tan of skin.
Secondly standing for hours on end(I did 5 hours straight without sitting down to rest) without any breaks in between is not my idea of fun.
Thirdly the dust and exhaust fumes certainly do not make me any healthier.

The only plus point is that, for the first time in my life, I had the power(or authority) to stop vehicles in the middle of the road and all that stuff.
hahahaha

Because of my deployment yesterday, I couldnt do a lot of things.
I couldnt attend one of my friend's farewell
gathering (Sorry ez. I wish ya all the best there(= and take care)
I couldnt see my friends.
and I couldnt see my special someone.


My Pop is on thursday =)
For the past week, our trainings were mostly pop rehearsals.
Doing marching drills and the stuff.
Tiring but certainly worth all the practice.
We certainly wanna look great and be of certain standards when marching for pop.
Hopefully it'll be a blast.

I'll get my vocation posting results on Friday.
Theres a high possibility that I'l leither get posted to Neighbourhood Police Centre Officer(NPCO) or the Police Coast Guards(PCG).
Either way, I'll be contented.
But it would be great to get into NPCO as I'll get free driving license. (woohooo !)
Ok for those who wanna ride, you know what to do eh.
Pray hard I'll get posted there.
