Its been almost 3 months since I last watched a movie in a cinema.
Can you believe that???
And just now I caught Silent Hill.
Yeah that movie was based on a video game which
i remember playing it way back in primary 6.

Ok ok i wont spoil it for you, if you havent watched it yet.
But honestly, i was disappointed with the movie.
Mainly because it didnt even send shivers down my spine nor
send me cringing in fear.
The scenes were just gross and gory rather than scary.
And yeah the monsters/demons were not fright-inducing either.
Scare factor out of 5 stars: 2.5 stars

Its okay...
I still enjoyed myself today and even wished it could be like this everyday. =)
Too bad...
That aint gonna happend.

My final term tests is scheduled on next monday(26th) and yet
I've been uber lazy to dig up my law manuals and police procedure manuals to study.
Its the same old shit again.
It feels just like school again.
We wear uniforms, we have physical training, we get punished upon doing wrong, we have to study and take exams !!!!
Well see the similarities.
So there you have it, NS in police is just like school.

Life in ns has been quite boring so far.
I'm a person who gets bored easily and the routine pretty much sucks.
But then again, we're left with only 2.5 weeks till passing-out-parade.
So yeah I'm just gonna take it one day at a time and enjoy the remaining time left
with my squadmates. (We're the rowdiest bunch in F coy!)

Practicality beats everything else.

When that feeling is gone, I think I know what it truly is.

But then again I'm a nuthead.

So it might not be true.

The legion of football-crazy fans would have been outraged by my behaviour for not
catching yesterday's England match against Paraguay.
But then again I was totally whacked after one long day.
My eyes were literally lifting weights by 930pm and I couldnt care less any more about it.
The 2.5 hours of sleep from the day before plus the duties I had to perform at the carnival certainly took its toll.
I was only consolated when i flipped through the pages of the day's papers and saw the the headlines commenting on how bad England was during the match.
Thats good stuff. (well for me that is)

And one thing I've learnt is, never watch a soccer match (be it on tv or whatever) and have a phone conversation with a gal at the same time. (It happened in the Germany game)
THEY KNOW YOU'RE DOING IT and THEY WILL ACCUSE YOU OF NOT LISTENING TO THEM when in fact you ARE.
And the worse case scenario is when you'll exclaim "GOAL!" when the gal is in the midst of their sentence.
That will put you in dipshit and like they say, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
Actually this is already the second time i've been on the receiving end but then again, old habits die hard.

Sadly this time, I wont be able to catch all the World Cup matches due to NS.
I only have the weekends to do so.
So people out there stop gloating in glee and shut up.

at the old police academy tomorrow!
We're having the police day carnival there.
And I'll be down doing crowd control. (yeah like the crowd is gonna run riot in a placed filled with police officers hahaha)
And those of you who got nothing better to do, come down and say hi to me coz yeah its gonna be a boring day for me if i dont see familiar faces. (my duty ends at 3pm)

Damnn...
they're gonna take away my Saturday next week!
Its all because of that Police Day Carnival thats gonna take place from next Friday to Sunday.
And its taking place at the old Police Academy in Thompson Rd.
I'll probably in my blue uniform doing whatever duties.
Luckily for my squad, we're only down for the first shift on the saturday from 8am to 3pm.
Its bad enough that they havent compensate us the last time, our weekends were burnt.
And now our weekends are cut short by this!

If you guys are interested, do come down for the carnival.
No, i'm not promoting this, i just wanna see familiar faces when i'm doing duties there.
It would be a bore if i dont see anyone i know.

The weather these days is already insufferable, and it aint doing me any good when i'm serving my bpt.
Rain in the morning would only be replaced by stiffening and burning rays of sunshine.
The end result would only be, ultra tanned me.
When i met up with my relatives yesterday, they keep commenting on how tanned (mangkin gelap seh) i become!!!

Its the weekends!
Lo and behold, i just had another mangkuk haircut earlier this week.
I would have to parade with such a ghastly hairstyle when i go out later.
But alas, its the last mangkuk haircut that i'll receive.
After this, we'll just cut 4 by 2 (cut the sides and the back).

Alright enough of hair.
Last week I mentioned about my camp being haunted.
Well now we have proof in the form of recorded cctv images to back that up.
One of my squadmates was fortunate enough to get to see them.
I shall not mention what kind of forms appeared coz idont wanna give you guys nightmares.
hahaha
Go figure.

Seems like i wont be having mid term tests.
They cancelled the whole thing so now we only have the final tests to study for.
The tests will be in like 2-3 weeks time and yet my squad has yet to cover much of the syllabus.
And i've yet to touch my law manuals and police procedure manuals.
Everytime at night, I'll either go running and pump iron or I'll just indulge in polishing my boots or slack and enjoy being in the company of others.
I dont know how i'm going to manage, but if others before me have accomplished and passed the tests, why not me? haha

Fortunately for my squad, our shooting test is over.
I can be considered lucky becausein the 6th frame(the actual test),
my revolver worked perfectly.
Having a good revolver certainly increases your chances of getting marksman.
I felt sorry for my friends who had their guns malfunctioning throughout the entire shoot
and in the end it affected their score.
As for me, I got marksman with a score of 95/100.
(my 2 other squadmates obtained 99 and there are people from other squads getting 100)

Alright i've still got other tests to go through like drills test, scenario based test and police defensive tactics tests.
Its gonna be a hectic week next week.

Oh yeah i agree on the cats having sex, not only all day but all night as well. There was one time, we didnt close the door shut at night and 2 cats came in and you know what happened next. The fun never runs out when i'm with my squadmates. We're probably the rowdiest bunch who tests the system whenever we can and so far we have not yet been caught for doing stuff!!! hahaha. And I'm not the only one who sings in the showers. Fortunately, i have yet to hear or experience anything supernatural. Hope to see ya soon. Another tea session with the rest??? haha
