as another year cease,
another takes over
its always nostalgic when we reminisce the events of the past year
indeed 2004 has been a memorable one
one that has bittersweet moments
and also new experience

January - March
start of the first 3 months is really an eye-opener
made so many new friends from different walks of life
got myself a clique that i will probably remember for a very long time
never have i been so...
how to say... loose and being more outgoing
the first 3 months in pjc was probably the most memorable in my skool years

April onwards
the real school term starts
and we start to realise the peril of being a jc student
working our butts off
not just individually but also as a team in our project
the word "stress" is part of everyday life
and it takes a whole new meaning in jc

enjoyed the stress of skool and also my cca
outdoor activities club that is(odac)
haha cca is the place to beat da stress
and wat more can u ask for in a club of jokers
and athletes alike haha
truly enjoyable

was part of my cca ex-co
and it instilled qualities of leadership in me
i was never the one to lead back in sec skool (always the slacker)
but it all changed me
especially during the leadership training camp(ltc)
where i was made the manpower ic of the camp
2nd most important person in the camp
it all made me to look things in different perspectives

project work was a nightmare
but some nightmares teaches us lessons
and this one serves its purpose
i was sabotaged to be the group leader
and in all groups there will surely be some freeloaders
and people not responding to datelines
hate this type of people
but in the end it was all worthwhile even if it was hateworthy
we strecthed ourselves to our limits and thats wat its all about

exams are always hated
but the lesson learnt here was that
this is not sec skool anymore
no more last minute muggin

manage to work at moe as an attachment
work as an invigilator for pri 3 kids for their
gifted education programme screening
a fun experience and got to know
a little bit of the scenes the teachers have to face
in their daily work
i might aspire to be one

thats all

my resolutions...
1)not to slack anymore
2)work hard for the A-levels
3)concentrate and survive the year ahead
4)and lastly get myself a girlfriend hahahhaha okok juz kiddin

ok my com blew up----literally
thats why i wasn around---in the e-comm

da word of da day: obnoxious

it means
1)Very annoying or objectionable; offensive or odious: “I know no method to secure the repeal of bad or obnoxious laws so effective as their stringent execution” (Ulysses S. Grant).
2)Archaic. Exposed to harm, injury, or evil: “The town... now lies obnoxious to its foes” (John Bunyan).
3)Archaic. Deserving of or liable to censure.

i love da word but i hate da obnoxious people
hahhahahhahahahahahahhaha

ok moving on...

today i cycled from jurong to bt panjang to bt timah to clementi to pasir panjang
to sentosa to esplanade to kallang then all da way to east coast
seems far but it wasn that far could have gone further still
we wanted to go to changi but then my limbs and ass were getting numb
hahaha
i almost puked
along the way saw kelvin at the bus stop near bt timah
haha could see he was surprised to see me lol
i'm feelin beat, beat up, bored, broken-down, burned out, collapsing, consumed, distressed, dog-tired, done for, done in, drained, drooping, droopy, drowsy, empty, enervated, exasperated, fagged, faint, fatigued, fed up, finished, flagging, haggard, irked, irritated, jaded, narcoleptic, overtaxed, overworked, petered out, played out, pooped, pooped out, prostrated, run-down, sick of, sleepy, spent, stale, tuckered out, wasted, weary, whacked, worn, worn out

hows that for adjectives!!!
say no more
i'm outta here

ok i've been gone for far too long
to make matters worse i wasnt even far from
my computer
the problem was merely my flaw of being lazy
da laziness in me seems to be working overtime
wad da hell!!

if my frens sees me in this kinda state,
all my credibility of being a hardworkin guy
will be in the dumps.
hey wait which frens am i talkin bout ?
ya i forget to explain
well last time in my eyes of my secondary school frens,
i was da hardworkin guy in da top class and probably the
most unassuming malay guy there. wasnt so much of a slacker
back then
but now however in pjc, i am so much of a slacker man
damn!! people do change
but isnt it bad if we change for the worse
why the F*** is this happening to me!!!!!!
i'm suppose to be mugging for my A levels
and wat the shit am i doin now???!!!
kk chill man...
will find a solution to this crap

hey got a new computer
well not exactly all brand new
only the cpu, keyboard and mouse is new haha
still got the old moniter and da speakers
but its so much damn faster than my old com
2.81 GHz and 512 MB of ram
got cd burner

haha my best pal's bdae is tmr
ok i admit i still have not bought ur present kelvin
damn then thers still another person bdae
and then thers my uncles bdae too
wonder why so many bdaes his week

kk thats all for now

ok ok i'll blog
some people are so hard to please haha

Friday:
Woke up early and went to school for odac meeting
wat a laugh not even half the members were there
but still we managed to get matters discussed
and list out activities that we want to carry out next year
Amos and I have to recce round-island cycling
and then help Wei Heng to recce Bt Timah for hiking next year

In the afternoon, Amos , Wei Heng and I decided to recce
Bt Timah for the hike next year for juniors
we took our bikes and went to BT
we chose to use the mountain biking trail in BT
for the hike and thats y we brought along our bikes
the weather was cloudy and when we went in,
it was drizzling by then
i missed mountain biking in BT
i love the thrill and the adrenaline rush
when going down steep slopes
and also the presence of danger
and mind you people have broke their bones
and get concussions when they fall
Wei Heng didnt have a helmut with him so he
did not take any chances and also it was his first time there
there were times when i almost lost control and skidded
and i almost crash into amos who was in front of me during
the steep descents but we managed to come out in 1 piece

At night went to my 2nd home in johor
and now i have something to smile at last when i am there
my cousin gave away his PS1 and put it there (he bought a PS2 recently)
yay!

Saturday
went to Air Papan, Mersing, Johor
the beach was not so clean like in the past
the water picks up sand and the water is brownish
nevertheless i enjoyed being swept away by those huge waves

Sunday
went back to my house in johor
amid with controversies
as now is the monsoon season,
rainfalls are so often that it swells the rivers
we got caught at one point when the river overflowed
over and the bridge and the road were drowned in water
luckily there was an alternative route but it was a long one
of course
it took us almost another 2 hours to get home
but so glad that we managed to get home safely

hahaha take that Sylvester Sim fans!!!!!
all that whining of how come Sly can lose
and speculating and coming up with conspiracy theories!!
haha who's malu now
Taufik won by 62% to 38% man
thats considered a landslide victory

no no dont get me wrong i'm no hard-core fan of taufik
i only support REAL talent
and i was perturbed and disgusted when i read about reports
of conspiracy teories that taufik actually lost and they made him the winner
as they wanted him to represent sg at world idol
haha wat a laugh
the bengs and lians probably ran out of money after spending so much money
to keep sly in the competition till the finals hahahaha
ok no offense to the bengs and lians haha
besides that i was also disturbed by the fact that the winner and the runner-up
got the same(well almost the same) deals and contracts
wat the hell!!!
that didnt happend at American idol !!!
its not fair to the winner and wats the point of having a winner anyway

the world idol also cancelled!!!
damn those fools
ok at least now they release the voting results
but they should have done it much earlier
ok nvm

those people who complained and came out with ridiculous conspiracy theories,
was just another case of sourgrapes
and boy did they get a taste of their own medicine when the results
of the polls were announced yesterday
hahahhahahaahahhahaha
take that u whiners cinonek hahahahaha
kk juz kidding

najuz cant understand y i've became so lazy
too lazy to blog that is
la la la
wats happened kk

just came back from expedition on tuesday
the expedition lasted from 27 to 30 november
went to Endau Rompin National Park
its at the northern part of johore near pahang
went with my cca(odac that is of u still dont know)

well it was one hell of an experience
trekking thru the jungle
climbing steep hills
observing and listening to the waterfalls
taking a dip at the lagoon and river
rafting down the river
and not forgetting getting sucked by leeches

i will never forget the experience
the beauty of nature is so overwhelming there
words cant describe it
the most breath-taking views includes
the view of the Upeh Guling Waterfall
the confluence of Sungai Jasin and sungai Marong
the view at the top of the hill at kuala Marong
well it was nature at its best
i love nature and the outdoors
thats probably y i apreciate the beauty of it
if given the chance i would go there again
or i would like to go to more exotic places

ok ok the people who went were
me , adnan ,wei heng , wai kin, jun jie, yong ju, yao long, darryl, gabriel, fauzi and Mr Loh
girls> rebecca, xin yan , xuemin, lynette and Miss Oh
only fauzi wasnt from odac (hes from band)
he came with us as he wanted to complete his NYAA award
sadly not everyone in odac went
miss some of the people and could sense thatthere was something missing

the funniest thing>1 adnan having a nightmare and waking up people in the tents haha
2 seeing the people's reaction upon getting sucked by leeches the first time
the best view> Upeh Guling Waterfalls
the best feeling> dipping in the Tasik Air Biru (lagoon)
the most task-worthy (to me) > trekking 3 hours with my 13 kg bag on my back
the scariest thing> learning that our base camp was a cemetery for the orang asli

ok ok thats all for now
