IMF is over!

For most of you, it really doesnt affect you in any way if it were to still go on for weeks.
But for the men in blue (da police duh!), we've been working our ass off ensuring
security for the event.
Lack of sleep and rest, weary eyes, bulging eyebags, tired limbs, blistered feet and aching backs are just some of the consequence of doing such duties.
And carrying arms(t-baton, handcuffs, bullet pouch and a revolver) on your belt is not as fun as it looks.
It is soo "leceh". Especially when nature calls(the big business) and you have to rush to the toilet. Once I unbuckle my belt, I have to make sure I hold on to my pants tight.
If not, my pants along with the arms attached to my belt would come crashing to the floor.
wahahaha.

You would have been wondering what I did during the past 2 weeks.
Well it was mainly ensuring security at the hotel the delegates stayed.(Ritz Charlton)
Some of the things I did was stand at the main entrance of the hotel, make sure no suspicious items get in at the loading/unloading bay, checking people at walk through metal detectors, using the handheld metal detectors to check persons, checking of bags, guarding exit doors from intrusions and doing prowling.
Thats about all.
Fun?
Try doing it for 12 hours straight with just short meal breaks.

I get a day off today before I go back to HTA for another 3 weeks or so.
And after that, I'll be posted to Clementi Police Division.
Time seems to just zoom by.

On this Sunday, its First of Ramadhan, the start of the fasting month.
And one month later, it'll be Hari Raya.

Okays thats all.

I could gaze into your eyes for hours,
ever so beautiful.

I've either been too busy with work or just too tired to blog whenever
I come back home from work.

I just wanna sit down and enjoy the breeze.
Watching the birds fly by and doing nothing.
But no...
do i have such luxury this week.
nooo. blardy gahmen.
and the police phsychological department still can interview and ask us, what would
motivate and boost our morale in doing the imf duties.
More off days and of course MONEY la.
They better give us money.
They think what, we work extra for free?
But what to do.
Upset but accept?
well probably not all the time.

Only 2 working days and I already wish that all these IMF duties would end.
I mean right now.
Why?
Firstly its the long hours.
And secondly its freaking tiring.
Thirdly, the only thing that I wanna do when i reach home is sleep.
My bed never felt so comfortable before.
I dont even have time to go out and enjoy myself.
ARGHHH!!!
Blardy gahmen.

What do I do?
Ensuring security at the hotel where delegates stay.
Yeah boring shit.
I hope it ends in a hurry.

No matter how far you are,
you'll always be right here,
in my heart =)

I'm working the night shift tonight.
IMF duties.
I dont know how I'll survive working the night.
I've never kept myself awake and active one whole night before.
Pathetic?
I know.

Baaaah.

I'm craving for Starbucks coffee.
And its been quite a while since I last had mine.
Damn, 2 of my friends quit their barrista jobs.
Seems like I cant get any more discounted(or free even!) drinks.
haha
These are the little things that we should stop and savour in life.
The sweet aroma of coffee and the bittersweet taste.
Haiz.
However life seems to go by so fast that we have no time
to appreciate these small details in life.
How we wish we could slow the pace down.

Thats about all dudes.

As I gaze into your eyes,
all I want is you.

You must be wondering why the hell I'm so free now
till the point i have time to blog.
Well the thing is, I got a day off today!!!
Well initially I got all excited when they gave us this day off.
But the novelty wore off when I learnt that almost all my friends are busy.
What rotten luck!
They are either in uni studying, working or busy with something else.
Damn.

Only a day off and tomorrow I'll be doing IMF duties. (yeah that IMF/World Bank Conference)
And all this will end on 22nd of September.
Hopefully I'll get a rather slack duty.
I dont wanna be at the frontline. ( We frontline officers always die first hahaha)
But what to do.
Its gonna be a hectic 3 weeks it seems.
I wont get to see my friends(well its been a long time since i saw them) and time spent with my family and gf will be sapped too.
Arghhh.
Blardy Gahmen. hahaha

Thats all...

Every hour, every minute , every second
that I'm with you.
I cherish it all. =)

My Saturday was wasted.
I had to do duty for the HTA open house yesterday.
And poor me, I had to pack and give out goodie bags to the public.
Blardy hell.
In the end i reached home around 8pm.
And no, dont ask if i saw the Idols.
I left camp before they came.
If i stayed, I would have assaulted that freako with long hair.
wahaha

My mum seriously wants me to improve and be a better driver.
She woke me up from my beauty sleep and told me to drive her
and buy breakfast for the family.
But its ok, at least i get to hit the roads blazing.
And I feel more comfortable driving the car.

ok thats all.

I'll fly you to the moon and back
If I could.
Just you and me =)
